To the Landlord!

Shuddering, you make your way to the landlord's office on the first floor of the apartment complex, careful not to fall down the stairs since they're all icy and junk.

According to the receptionist, the landlord's out of town with his family. You just can't catch a break. The master of the keys is gone away with one of those things you don't have, and, because of his predetermined and much planned and anticipated family vacation, you have been slightly inconvienced. It's a real travesty, let me tell you.

Since the key master is unavailable, it appears that you'll have to wander the streets to find shelter from the life-threateningly frigid 31 degree night before hypothermic shock sets in. You don't have much time; you'll have to be more agile than plywood and more cunning than a lego to survive this dreadful night.

...Or you could, you know, ask the receptionist if she could help you get back into your apartment. You've already initiated a conversation with her anyway, and she is looking at you funny for standing there all awkward and whatnot.

  >> Wander the streets?
  >> Ask for the keys anyway?
