For once, you take the initiative and kiss Heather. You hear a giggle rise up in her throat and she puts her hands on your cheeks and leans back, pulling you toward her.
"You know, Default," she says, "You're a terrible kisser."
You shrink back and look away, embarrassed. Heather lifts your chin up, though.
"Hey, come on, Default. I'm just teasing you." She kisses you again. "I'll teach you." And she kisses you again. You're no expert, but this seems like an awful lot of kissing for a second date. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that you two just saved the universe or something.
The buff guy comes back out to interject, but I stop him and push him away. This is Heather and Default's time. Not Ancillary Buff Man's. Hey, look at that, I actually did something this time around. Take that fourth wall.
What were we doing again? Oh yeah, you and Heather! Let's see what you're up to...
It's been thirteen months since the burger incident, and Mr. and Mrs. Everyman, now married for a month and a half, are at the hopsital. It isn't a sad occasion, though. In fact, it's one of the most joyous times to be there: we're about to find our if you're having a boy or a girl.
You and Heather hold hands and share butterfly kisses and the doctor finishes his analysis. "Well, Mrs. Everyman, we know what the baby is."
You kiss Heather's hand, and she says, "Well? What is it?"
The doctor grins.
"It's a trilogy!"
