You can't go to the landlord's office; you don't know the people there, and, as you learned in your youth, strangers are danger. Heather isn't a stranger; she'll be able to help.
You knock on Heather's door, and, after a minute, she opens in the door. You gasp for breath as she stands before you in skinny jeans and a white tank top. Her boots are over to the side, and her jacket's strewn across the bed. Her hair looks a little wet.
"Oh, hey, Default. I was just about to take a shower. What's up?"
Looking at her, you feel overcome with mushy inside feelings. Heather's your soulmate, you're sure of it. You have to be careful not to scare her off, though. She may not feel the same way right now.
But as you behold her radiance, you wonder if you'll be able to make it until tomorrow night to be with her again. However, you kind of need to get back into your apartment.
