You tell Heather everything that happened, beginning with your door randomly blowing up. Once you finish your spiel, you are enveloped by a blinding light. The next thing you know, you're in a large gray room similar to that of Dr. Evil's secret base. Don't misunderstand me; it's similar to Dr. Evil's base. It's not a replica or infringing on anything here. I'm only describing it that way to give you a visual point of reference.
There's a big conference-hall like table in the middle of the room, and burgers sit in all but one chair. At the end of the table, there's a burger with a scratch running down one side of the face of its bun.
"Welcome, Mr. Everyman, to my evil lair," it says.
You clench your fists, but something's off. Clarence is gone! Oh, where could that little bugger have run off to?
"Ahem," the burger coughs. You stop looking for Clarence and turn your attention back toward the burger. "That's better. Now, Mr. Everyman, you may call me...Betty."
"Betty..." You look at Heather, who doesn't seem to get the reference. You'll have to explain it to her later.
You point a finger at the lead burger. "But isn't Betty a woman's name?"
The other burgers mumble amongst themselves, but Betty isn't amused. Instead, he jumps up and and flexes his muscles. Let me tell you, they don't compliment a burger's complexion. *shudders*
Betty takes a few deep breaths to calm himself, then walks around the side of the table opposite you. "Now, now, Mr. Everyman, no need for such...accurate movie references. Please, sit down and let us discuss things like men." Betty points to the empty chair at the table, which happens to be closest to you.
Mom always said to never trust a stranger, but, then again, Smokey the Bear says that only you can prevent wildfires. You aren't exactly sure why that comes to mind now, but it is what it is. Betty does seem pretty trustworthy, and you doubt that he'll pull something if you just sit down. After all, he did offer to discuss this like men.
On the other hand, he teleported you without your consent! If you've learned anything from binge-watching Fringe, it's that teleportation is not good for one's health. He obviously doesn't care about you. He could've just called you a cab or scammed a contest to get you free tickets to Fhloston Paradise or something.
But no. He teleported you and probably gave you radiation poisoning. You won't have long to live, so you may as well make the most of it.
